FILM & TV

Film and television have always been a big part of Camilla Läckberg’s life. Her crime series about Fjällbacka has been filmed in several versions and the rights to the series about Faye have long been sold to Hollywood. This interest soon turned into a passion, and in 2020 Läckberg started the production company Bad Flamingo Studios with her friends Alexander and Baker Karim. Their first film Glacier, a thrilling love drama set in pandemic times, had its Nordic premiere on 30 April 2021.

Their second film The Dog premiered in 2024 and is set in Mombasa, Kenya. Baker Karim is the director, Alexander Karim plays the lead role and Camilla Läckberg is the executive producer.
